Founder and Managing Partner Wendy Harrington is a 20+ year, NY-ad-industry  veteran, former Senior Vice President, Account Director at agencies including Draft and J. Walter Thompson/Thompson Connect. Wendy lead marketing efforts for national accounts such as Avis Rent-A-Car, Better Homes and Gardens Books, Ford and Kodak, before opening Sidekick as a more client-centered alternative for small business support.

"My intention is to create a service that truly addresses the needs of the many talented small business people I come across every day. They love their business, are on a mission, but either don't have enough hours in the day for all they want to accomplish, or have limited marketing background -- and in either case they frequently find themselves forced to make reactive, rushed decisions without all the knowledge that could help them use their resources in the best ways possible. I launched Sidekick in the spirit of the many great leaders in history who had "Sidekicks" to help smooth the way, juggle the details, provide healthy perspective, and generally make it easier for the leader to get where they wanted to go."
